Bellville Athletic Club

Two races a year, run by club members

On Strava

Each of our races has a Strava club event carrying the official route, so you can load it onto your watch and know the turns before the start.

Club runs and the time trial are on Strava too — follow the club and the event for each race shows up there as soon as we publish it.

Help on race day

Members run our races

Every marshal, registration clerk, water-table hand and prize-giving assistant at our races is a club member. It is expected of members, and it is the reason our races have the reputation they do.

  • Marshalling and route points
  • Registration and number collection
  • Water tables and finish line
  • Prize giving and pack-up

There is also a marshal’s run the Monday after the race, which counts towards your 10 km club challenge.

Off the road

We also host an annual golf day and a few social functions — the Two Oceans pasta party and the year-end function are the big ones.
